3D models that can be uploaded on Regiverse App must respect the following features:

• accepted formats:
  • .DAE + texture
  • .FBX
  • .OBJ + .mtl + texture
  • .SKP (versioni: 2014,2015,2016)
• maximum number of verts that compose the model must is equal to 100.000
• file’s weight (model+textures) must be lighter than 150MB to guarantee the best App performance and to avoid excessive overheating of your hardware.

If your 3D model doesn’t respect one of these features the best performance is not guaranteed. Optimizations, compressions and conversions requested can be drop down information and quality.
Costs connected with these operations and processes are charged to Client.

It’s possible to set the initial user position.

To do it place a 3D object (for example a cube) named START inside model’s room from which you want user start the VR experience.

If object named START will not be found, starting position will be set to the 0.0.0 coordinates.

NOMENCLATURE

In order to make the Virtual Reality experience more realistic, Regiverse is able to manage collisions with objects. If collisions will be requested, every scene’s object will be considered to generate collisions except except for those renamed according to the nomenclature shown below.
Regiverse App will identify the objects (for example doors and windows) that user can cross through the suffixes:

• _across
• _door

To made the objects crossable you must rename them and add the suffixes above.

EXAMPLES

App permits to cross following objects:

• example_name_door
• example_name_across

App does NOT permit to cross following objects:

• example_name
• example_name_accross (typo error)

If the other objects arranged in the scene are not renamed by nomenclature indicated, it will impossible to go through them.

Regiverse App is set up with “Fly mode”, with this feature if you want overstep an obstacle, it is possible by passing above it.
